The Way You Are

We all search the world for love.

A love that takes us for all that we are.

A love that sings along, a love that cries along, a love that speaks without words.

Of all the faces in the crowd, you find yourself overlooked.

Everyone else, turned away, embracing with another.

A love that laughs along, a love that yells along, a love that holds fire to its touch.

Some are lucky to find it, more find themselves losing it.

We all wonder how to hold on.

A love that mends, a love that stays, a love that sees in bright vivid colors.

But when it’s found, all that we were was all we were meant to be.

Here lies a love for exactly who we are.

A love that is personal, a love that is yours, and sees with honest eyes.
