She is of the Earth

She is so much like the sun, shining even after the darkest night. The night sky’s stars hold nothing to the light within her eyes. Darkness means nothing when you think of her. She gives life to the desperate souls craving her affection, only to remain just out of reach. She is so much like the sun, and you’ll find you can’t live without her.

Or perhaps she is like the wind. Strong but entirely free in essence. Holding its motion but relinquishing control to what will be. You feel her caress but never see her stare. Warm or cold, you always know she’s there. She gives ease to a hot summer’s day, or makes you shiver from the cold you keep at bay. She is so much like the wind, and you’ll find you can’t breathe without her.

She might be like the sea, full of depth and wild. Moving with freedom or crushing with ease. Secrets are kept with her, both perfect and tempting. Her waves crash on the shore, and as they wish for more, she quickly pulls away. She is so much like the sea, and you’ll find you can’t be without her.

But down deep within her, you know there is fire. It’s honest and bold and once again untamed. It motivates her soul and shared when her heated touch lingers. She fuels her own mind and tears down her foes, wherever she goes, all will know. She has such a fire, this we know, and you’ll find you can’t feel without her.

There is one more thing that she could be, and that is of the Earth. Adored and feared and profoundly strong footed, all hold on to her gifts. She blooms in Spring and wades in Winter, but all anticipate these changes. Beautiful in every way, and every day you find, you simply cannot love without her.
