I have never been a consistent OOTD picture taker. Maybe it’s because my general work attire is scrubs at the moment (not that exciting), or on my days off I’m in comfy clothes for every possible minute I can be, but I love fashion.
Style is something that molds and shapes over the entire course of your life. I’ve always thought I was hot shit with my outfits, but so did we all with our gaucho pants and Aeropostale t-shirt pulled down. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. We were happy and that’s all that mattered.
Even now, I wouldn’t consider myself a style professional by any means. My preferred method of fashion prioritizes comfort whenever I can, but are more likely to be a Pinterest recreation than an original combo. Not to say I don’t do that, but Pinterest has been my best tool when it comes to figuring out what I like, and where I want my style to continue to go.
I also try to avoid fast-fashion like it’s the plague (not everything is avoidable, but we can always do our best to make smart decisions), my acquiring of new pieces is often a slow process, and random because I enjoy thrifting; you’ll never know what gems you’ll find!
I suddenly became a consistent OOTD picture taker when I really started to have fun with my outfits, oh, and when I got a boyfriend. He’s a man of impeccable style himself and loves to see what his arm candy is looking like for the day, so of course I oblige.
Now that I have all these photos, I wish I had been doing this for a while. I have a great memory, and a good outfit is a part of your soul and is hard to forget, but how fun it’s been to see how much I have changed over a short amount of time.
I won’t bore you with tedious details, in these archives you’ll find different lengths of hair, dirty mirrors, awkward poses and many peace signs…and each and every one with some sort of happy smile.
Let me know in the comments which outfits are your favorite!
