Hi, my name is Tia, and I love to shop! I wouldn’t say that my favorite hobbie is unhealthy because I am so financially conscious, but it’s true, I love to shop.
I like that I can spend my money on myself and experiences in my life, and I get giddy when I have packages to open on my porch.
Like all people, I have certain products I’m in the market for and always keep my eyes open for the right one. Today, ladies, gentlemen and non-binary friends, is the small list of things I’m keeping my eye out for!
A Digital Camera
FujiFilm X-100VI
I’ve been itching for a new camera for a while. I love photography and primarily use my film cameras. They are great things but as we all know, film can be expensive and I’d love to have a camera that makes for a great addition for travelling, while allowing for the same effect and feel of a film camera. I want a camera that is easy to use, but has endless possibilities as I continue to learn more about photography.
The FujiFilm X-100VI I think is what will do all that for me. I won’t go into the specs here, but it is almost always sold out, so I will definitely be keeping my eyes peeled (and saving my pennies) for a big girl purchase like this! Maybe I’ll treat myself during the holiays or after a work bonus or two.
Black Skort
I am what the kids say, slim thicc. I am petite because I am 5′ 2″, but also I just have the sort of porportions that can make clothing shopping frustrating. All I want in life is for some cute skirts, but mini skirts and low rise skirts on me are simply a no go…they never make one that takes into account a booty!
That is why I love skorts, and that is why somehow, someway, I will find the perfect black skort for girls like me. Even if I have to sew it myself (though I really don’t want to). I want one that has absolutely no frills or embellishments, I don’t want slits or weird pockets, I want a smooth waistline and some stretch, though zippers to get in and out are of course fine.
Leather Boots
Similar to the skirt debacle, I often find myself with a shit-shoe catastrophe as well. Small feet (of course), but also wide footed (of course) and to top it all off, strong and amazing calves (of course). So to match the specfic proportions of my feet, I often have to sacrifice something, and that’s usually comfort.
I am on the hunt for leather boots for fall, that are comfortable and fit my strong and amazing calves! Is that too much for a girl to ask for? I’m usually a thick heel sort of gal, ya know for balance purposes, but I think if it’s a lower heel, I very well might try something new and go for a stiletto type heel! Wild I know…but anyways, black, brown, and yummy reds are what I am after.
Bathrobe Kimono
Sexy girls need sexy things to continue to feel sexy. I don’t make the rules on this. But aside from those very important things, I really just need a bathrobe that is fitting for the warmer months. I currently have the Sunday Citizen Snug Waffle Robe in the color moss and it is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made, but she’s mighty and meant only for the cold times of year.
I have yet to come across a lightweight bathrobe where I don’t hate the fit, the color or mainly the patterns and the pricetag…so I think that this find will have to be created by my own two hands. I’m hoping to find something that gives that effortless look, with an oversized fit and feminine aspects. Pockets are mandatory, and I want it be a darker color, preferably a few dark colors. Now it all comes down to the right pattern, the right fabric, and lots of patience!
Clarins Cryo-Flash Face Mask
Her full name is pronounced Clarins Cryo-Flash Instant Lift Effect & Glow Boosting Face Mask. Quick petition here for beauty and skincare brands to reel it in when it comes to naming their products, but I digress.
This is probably so unnecessary, but not everything in life needs to be entirely practical. This mask is said to provide lift, minimize pores and increase the appearence of glowy skin. It gets icy cold and honestly that’s the draw for me! I love products that bring on a chill, including scalp sprays and such. However this currently retails for $80, and that’s simply a lot to spend on a face mask. So I might wait for another sale to come around before I hit send on that one.
