Hello Observers!
Tomorrow I will be introducing a new mini-series under the “Letters to a Dying Flame” title. I think the small pieces of work fit with what I am working on there, but I wanted to give it its own little moment.
Inspired by the well-known seven deadly sins, I took seven positive qualities that we might look for in partners or relationships and turned them on their toxic head.
Its title is, “The Seven Deadly Players.”
I wanted to explore how these seemingly good things can be twisted and manipulated into something worse, and often in ways we might be very familiar with. I wanted to push the boundary of what each word meant, and explore darker alternatives.
For the next few weeks I will share with you these deadly players and all the wonders, deceit, or heartbreak that come with them, and I am excited for you to follow along.
They are not the seven deadly sins exactly, nor are they exactly the sins oppostive. I won’t spoil the fun by giving away what I chose to write about so soon, but I very much so hope that you enjoy them…stay tuned for tomorrow’s post!
