Be Careful What You Wish For

By

Be careful what you wish for, you might get exactly that.

“Just friends,” and to that I will oblige.

Be careful what you wish for, you might get exactly that.

You will hate every single minute of it. At least that’s one promise between us that can be kept, and I promise it will be much worse than you imagine.

To see me, and not have me.

To hear of me, but not know me.

To need me, and I will not be there.

To talk to me, and I have little to say in return.

To never touch me again.

To change your mind and find that I am not as forgiving.

You will get exactly what you wished for, and you will hate every minute of it.

At least that promise between us can be kept.

So be careful what you wish for.
